Central University of Jharkhand JRF Position Details

• Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
• Number of Positions: 01
• Area: Organic Chemistry, Organometallic Chemistry
• Project Duration: 03 Years
• Principal Investigator (P.I): Dr. Sabyasachi Bhunia (Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, CUJ)
• Project Title: Transition Metal Catalyzed Tandem Carbo- and Heterocyclizations through the Activation of Carbon-Carbon Multiple Bonds & Development of New Oxidative Fluorinating Reagents for the Oxidation & Simultaneous Fluorination of Alkynes: Mechanistic Studies through DFT & Reaction Scope.

CUJ JRF Emoluments:

• Per Month: Rs. 31000 + HRA for 1st and 2nd Year, Rs. 35000 + HRA for 3rd Year as SRF.
• Note: Candidates with M.Sc. in Chemistry without NET/GATE, if selected, will be paid as Project Associate I@ Rs. 25000/- + HRA per month for initial two years, and thereafter Rs. 28000 + HRA as Project Associate II.

Duration:

• Initially for six months, extendable based on performance on a yearly basis.

Essential Qualifications:

• M.Sc. in Chemistry with minimum 55% marks. Candidates with NET (LS) or GATE preferred.

Role and Responsibilities:

• JRF will synthesize various organic molecules related to the project.
