Syllabus and Other Important Things To Know
 

(A) ICAR Assistant Grade Examination Preliminary Examination:
1. General Intelligence and Reasoning- 25 Questions, 
2. General Awareness – 25 Questions,
3.Quantative Aptitude – 25 Questions, 
4. English Comprehension – 25 Questions…

 

Total 100 Questions of MCQ will be asked and Duration of Exam will be of 1.00 Hours (1 hours and 20 minutes for the candidates eligible for scribe.)

 


(B) ICAR Assistant Grade (Main) Examination:-

Paper 1 is of MCQ Nature and of 200 Marks.

1-Quantitative Abilities 50 Questions (Objective Type) of 100 Marks..
2-English Language & Comprehension 100 Questions (Objective Type) of 100 Marks..

2 Hours(2 hours and 40 minutes for the candidates eligible for scribe.)

Paper 2 is of Descriptive Paper Nature in English or Hindi..
(Writing of Essay/ Precis/ Letter/ Application etc.) of 100 Marks & Duration of exam is 1.00 Hours…
(1 hours and 20 minutes for the candidates eligible for scribe.)

Note-

A-The Preliminary Exam and Paper – I of the Main Examination will be conducted in online mode and Paper – II of the Main examination will be conducted in offline mode.
B- In Preliminary Examination, there will be negative marking of 1/3rdfor each wrong answer.
C- There will be negative marking of 1/3rd for each wrong answer in Paper – I of the Mains Examination…
