After completing your enrolment process for a new Aadhaar Card, you can check the status of the Aadhaar on the official website of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI)

You will need to provide the Enrolment ID and the date in order to check the status. The date and EID details can be found on the acknowledgment slip.

 

Steps to Check Your Aadhaar Status

  • Step 1: Visit https://resident.uidai.gov.in/
  • Step 2: Click on ‘My Aadhaar’.
  • Step 3: Click on ‘Check Aadhar Status’ from the dropdown menu.
  • Step 4: Next, enter the Enrolment ID or Service Request Number (SRN), and the captcha & Verify Captcha
  • Step 6: After the successful verification of Captcha, click on ‘Submit’.

Check Aadhar Card Status through Mobile Number

There is another way for the applicants to verify the status of their Aadhaar, which is to use their mobile number.  You may check the status of your Aadhar Card by sending an SMS to your registered mobile number or calling the toll-free number.

  1. Step 1: Dial 1800-300-1947 from your registered mobile number.
  2. Step 2:Provide your Enrolment ID to the agent .
  3. Step 3: The agent will crosscheck your enrolment number, if it matches, he or she will let you know the status of your Aadhar .
